The Kriskindlmarkt will be open 3 consecutive weekends (Fridays and Saturdays only) from November 24 – December 9.
(4-8 PM on Fridays, 10 AM -8 PM on Saturdays) In addition to local area crafters and community service organizations.
This year’s highlights include:
*Commemorative Cups and Gluehwein…and Spiced Roasted Nuts
Special 2107 commemorative Kriskindlmarkt mugs and gluhwien (a hot mulled red wine) will be available in the O’Tannenbaum Booth throughout the duration of the Kriskindlmarkt. Cinnamon-spiced roasted cashews, almonds and pecans will be available in Das Nuss Haus.
* Wagon Rides to Holiday Lights
Two teams of horse-drawn wagons will transport visitors to and from Holiday Lights (Evans-Bosshard Park) each night between 5-8 PM. (Excluding time of the parade on December 1st.) Cost: $1 per person.
* Silent Monk performances
The Sparta Area Theatre and Arts Guild will be caroling and appearing as “The Silent Monks Performing the Hallelujah Chorus” each Friday from 7-8 PM and each Saturday from 6-7 PM.
* Sparta High School Vocal Jazz Ensemble and SHE, Dec 8 at 6 PM
*Breakfast With Santa, Dec 9 from 10 AM until Noon
Santa will be dropping by for some kid-friendly breakfast goodies, as well as photo opportunities. Digital photos will be provided free of charge. Cost for breakfast is $2.
