Job Opportunity: Part-Time Front Desk Assistant

The Sparta Police Department is seeking a part time Front Desk Assistant. Vacation coverage shifts will vary. Permanent shifts will include one afternoon/evening per week and every third Friday. Pay rate is $18 per hour.

Department Front Desk Assistants aid community members in person and over the phone, manage records, receive payments, transcribe, and carry-out various other duties to support the Department.

Qualified applicants will have exceptional computer proficiency, working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel, excellent grammar and spelling skills, strong communication skills, the ability to maintain confidential information, a desire to serve the Sparta community, and the ability to pass a background check.

This is the perfect job for someone who is retired or works part time.
