The City Block Grant Commission is responsible for reviewing and approving low income residential improvement loans, job creation business loans and downtown facade improvement loans. The five members are appointed annually by the Mayor. The Committee meets on an as needed basis and the meetings are typically in closed session because of the personal financial data being reviewed.
