Request form to start Water Utility Service for New Tenant(s) or New Homeowner(s)
Did you recently become a resident in the City of Sparta? Our quarterly billing schedule can be found [here]. Automatic bill pay is not available at this time. Payments can be made by cash, check, or card payment. Check or card payment can also be accepted online [here]. A service fee is applied when paying online. Payments can also be placed in the after hours drop box located next to the door of City Hall off of S. Court St.
Request form to discontinue Water Utility service for Current Tenant(s) or Property Seller(s)
Are you moving out of the City of Sparta or changing addresses within the City of Sparta? Date of final read and an address for the final bill to be forwarded to is required. A final bill will be sent to this address, including a $20.00 fee that is charged for a final read request.
Request form to start and/or discontinue Water Utility Service for a Realtor or Title Company
If you are a Realtor or Title company with a request, please complete this form. Allow 3-5 days before the closing date. Once a final read is ordered, please advise the seller not to make payments on their account unless a quarterly bill due date is before closing to avoid penalties. A final bill sent to the forwarding address, including a $20.00 fee that is charged for a final read request.
