Adult Recreation Programs

_{Softball Leagues}

_{Leagues are open to anyone 16 years and older. Each team designates a team manager to register their team. Each team will fill out a team roster provided by the Parks & Recreation department, which will be turned in at their first scheduled game. Teams provide their own bats and 12" softballs. Registration is available for the following groups:}

_{Tournaments are open to anyone 16 years and older. Sparta softball tournaments are known for a great time. Join us for a good competition and cash payouts for top teams. Camping and showers are available per request. Teams provide their own bats and 12" softballs. Registration is available for the following event:}

Butterfest Men's Limited Arc

_{Volleyball Leagues}

_{Tournaments begin with a pool play to determine the seeds for bracket play using rally scoring. Teams call their own game. Cash Payouts are awarded to the top teams in each bracket. Registration is available for the following groups:}

_{All levels are welcome! This class is led by Joanie Blixt. No pre-registration is required for this class. Just show up and bring $1.00.} 

_{Pickleball Open Gym}

_{This is a program available to anyone who wants to get exercise. This is an open gym setting, whoever shows up will get the opportunity to play. In the summer months, players meet at the Barney Center outdoor courts and play. Paddles are avalable to borrow from the Parks & rec office. All levels of play are welcome, even if you have never played before.}

_{Sparta Area Pickleball Association, a non-profit association that is passionate about providing a vibrant and welcoming community for pickleball enthusiasts from all skill levels. Located in the heart of Sparta, we offer a variety of opportunities to play, learn, and connect through this exciting sport. The Sparta Memorial Pickleball courts feature 8 courts open every day from dawn to 10pm. Fee or club membership NOT required.}
