The City of Sparta has created the Housing Rehabilitation Loan Program to establish a loan program for use in rehabilitating owner occupied homes for low, and moderate, income residents. The program is designed to provide qualified homeowners with a no-interest, deferred payment home repair loan. In general, eligible rehab activities include only work necessary to put the property into habitable, safe, and sanitary condition.
