6 acres – This park is home to the Holiday in the Park during the winter months and Concerts in the Park every Wednesday night during the summer. Grab your favorite lawn chair or a cozy blanket and settle in for an evening of incredible live music featuring talented artists from Sparta and the surrounding areas.
Vehicle entrance to the Park is from East Avenue. Terrance seating has recently been built to provide wide flat spots on the hill facing the band shell for more available seating and accessibility to the park. This includes a wide sidewalk entrance from our parking lot and a new viewing area for those with disabilities. Restrooms with hand washing station and a water spout are available for use, which are available during the summer months.

Concerts in the Park 2026 series is officially back starting May 20th and we have packed this season with so many amazing bands, it’s going to be absolutely ELECTRIC.

The Band Shell is located near shelter #2 and our outdoor restroom facilities. Seating and electricity is available. There is a ramp and stairs available to access the stage. The band shell is located near our parking lot as well.

This is our newest addition to Evans Bossard park. It is located closest to shelter #1 and our playground. Picnic tables, trash cans and electricity are available.
